"09/25/2019" People keep asking me if this Opti used the original Mitsubishi sensor or not and to be perfectly honest I have not nor has anyone on the Impala SS forum busted one of these open to either confirm or deny what sensor is being used so I honestly can not confirm this either way.

"09/25/2018" This is a Brand New Remanufactured Opti-Spark from GM. It is a Genuine A/C Delco Factory Part with the correct part number dot stamped on the side of it! The Original part #1104032 has been LONG Obsolete and was replaced with GM Factory remanufactured replacement part #19212300 which is also No longer Available from GM.

Now GM has begun offering a new Remanufactured Opti with part #19383531 and this is one of those parts. As you may know these come from GM with the electrical wiring harness already shrink wrapped onto the Opti however it has the WRONG connector on it for use on our B-Bodys. It is used on the Impala SS, the 9C1 Package Police cruisers and other vehicles as well. It is coming from a Chevrolet Dealership so you know you will be getting a first rate part and not some cheap aftermarket part. There just is nothing like factory parts!

We would also like to let you know from our past experience that if your original Opti-Spark failed due to moisture getting into it then we HIGHLY recommend that you also replace the Vacuum Harness for the Opti-Spark to prevent possible contamination of the new Opti-Spark which possibly could cause damage to the new Opti-Spark.

The Harness is Part #12555323 and it is available from one of our other auctions. This part should work with a variety of GM/Chevrolet vehicles like these with either the 4.3 Liter or the 5.7 Liter LT-1, and may fit other vehicles as well as long as they have the VENTED Opti. 1995 - 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. 1995 - 1996 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1.
